1. Definitions

"Performer": Refers to Brian Storey, operating as Brian Storey Magic.
"Client": The individual or organization booking the Performer’s services.
"Event": The occasion for which the Performer is booked.
"Agreement": The contract between the Performer and the Client for services.

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1 Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit of £50 or percentage of fee of the total fee, as agreed.
2.2 The balance is due on the day of event or within 10 working days of event, as agreed in writing.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellations by the Client must be made in writing.
3.2 Cancellation fees apply as follows:
a. More than 2 days (48 hours) before the Event: No additional fee. Deposit refunded minus any Performer expenses incurred.
b. Less than 2 days (48 hours) before the Event: Non-refund of deposit.
c. On the day, Performer attends venue: 100% of balance due.

4. Performance Requirements

4.1 The Client must provide a safe and appropriate performance area.
4.2 The Performer may require a secure changing area, access to electricity, a table and chair. Requirements will be discussed and agreed prior to the Event.

5. Liability

5.1 The Performer holds public liability insurance up to £10 million.
5.2 The Client is responsible for any damages caused by guests.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, illness).

7. Governing Law

7.1 The laws of England and Wales govern this Agreement.
